Responsibility

Environmental, Social
& Governance

Overview

Stewardship, not slogans

We do not treat responsibility as a marketing exercise. For a firm of our size, ESG means something practical: owning well-run businesses, treating partners fairly, and governing ourselves strictly.

Every commitment is weighed for its impact on people and the environment alongside its financial merit and we walk away when the impact is wrong, however attractive the numbers.

Environmental

We favour businesses that use resources carefully and operate cleanly. Environmental footprint is a standard part of our diligence wasteful operators do not clear our bar, whatever their margins.

Social

Fair treatment of employees, customers and counterparties is a condition of our capital not a preference. We back managements that build workplaces people stay in.

Governance

Board oversight, strict compliance, conflict prevention and transparent reporting. The same standards we demand of others, applied to ourselves first.

Governance Framework

Oversight with teeth

Responsibility without structure is sentiment. Our governance framework assigns every risk to an owner, every commitment to a review, and every decision to a record.

An internal investment review approves all deployments. Compliance and audit functions report independently of deal teams.

Investment oversight Committee approval required for every commitment; challenged theses only proceed on merit.
Risk management Leverage limits, concentration bands and continuous position review.
Compliance Strict adherence to applicable laws, filings and disclosure duties.
Conflicts Identified early, disclosed plainly, resolved in favour of partners.
Responsible investment ESG screening embedded in diligence; walk-away rule on serious harm.
